July 5th - PSDC regional Dalmatian Specialty shows
Puget Sound Dalmatian Club invites you to join us at our 60th and 61st Specialty Shows and Obedience and Rally Trials on Friday, July 5th.  Following our Friday shows are three days of the Western Washington Summer Cluster.

Our shows are held outdoors at Clarks Creek Park South in Puyallup, less than 1 1/2 miles from the Puyallup Fairgrounds south of Seattle.  The park has plenty of parking, a nice picnic shelter, and shade trees around the edge of the ring. Last year, our weather was very comfortable with a combination of high clouds and sun and we are hoping for a repeat of that.  This year, we are offering Obedience and Rally classes before our conformation classes start which also include puppy and veteran Sweepstakes with the morning show.  For the afternoon show, we will finish the day with just regular conformation classes.  A light lunch will be served between the two shows.  Our judges are Carl Lentz for Obedience and Rally, Dawn Mauel for Sweepstakes, and Rick Weyrich and Timothy Catterson for Conformation and Junior Showmanship.  By the way, our Junior Showmanship classes are free!

The Western Washington Cluster of shows is held at the Washington State Fair Events Center indoors in climate controlled buildings which can be a real advantage if July is hot.  The Dalmatian judges are Jon Cole on Saturday, Mark Kennedy on Sunday, and Carol White-Moser on Monday.  Obedience and Rally are offered all three days of these shows.  In addition, on Sunday, CGC, CGCA and Trick Dog Testing will be offered as well as a Pee Wee class for pre-Junior Showmanship for children 5-9.  On Monday, there will also be a Four-to-Six Month Puppy Class.  And, if you need another thing to do, the Puget Sound Doberman Pinscher Club is having an agility trial at Argus Ranch for Dogs in Auburn about a half hour away.  Overnight RV parking is available on the fairgrounds if you need it.

Closing dates for these shows is June 20th.  Extend your Fourth of July holiday and join us for a fun weekend!
